Compression Sleeves for Golf
My Zensah wear has become a staple in my daily golf attire. As an instructor, I am on my feet for the majority of the day, which can lead to soreness in my feet and legs. My Zensah Gear keep me fresh and ready to go throughout the day. The sleeves, pants, and socks ensure that I can tee it up at anytime. The variety of color options is extensive, and can be made to work with any outfit. I can’t wait to see what will be coming out next. Thank you Zensah for some much needed stylish relief for this instructor!
When compression became the “next big thing” for long distance runners about 5 years ago I was a bit skeptic. Would extra tight socks really help with recovery and blood flow? Would these expensive calf sleeves really make me a better runner? On one hand I was a believer – compression was used in the medical field so it had to have some benefits. On the other hand it felt like a stretch – it was used in hospital beds and wheelchairs on people who were immobile. By default runners had blood rushing through their veins, would compression really affect that?

This past weekend, Kara Goucher took the first steps in her comeback, as she ran the TCS New York City Marathon. After 15 months of not racing, it was exciting and inspiring to see Kara toe the start line and give it her all. Race conditions were tough with cold temperatures and strong winds. But Kara gave it her all and we are excited to have her back and running!
