There are some basic rules for staying warm for winter running. 3 key things to keep in mind are layers you can peel off as you warm up, moisture wicking clothes that keep you dry, and good gloves and socks to protect your hands and feet! In addition to keeping your hands nice and warm, our Reflect Running Gloves have some pretty awesome features that make them perfect for winter running.

This past weekend, Kara Goucher took the first steps in her comeback, as she ran the TCS New York City Marathon. After 15 months of not racing, it was exciting and inspiring to see Kara toe the start line and give it her all. Race conditions were tough with cold temperatures and strong winds. But Kara gave it her all and we are excited to have her back and running!

As an avid and competitive ultra runner, I don’t have much of a choice in the matter. Because I run in ultra distance events, 12 months out of the year, I need to maintain a high volume training regimen and that means I’ll be running outside without regard to the weather conditions.
To be effective in my training runs, I have to be comfortable and confident in my cold weather gear selections. I need reliable, well-built, functional and affordable clothing.
